๐ Scam-Proof Guide
At EvolveRO, we prioritize creating a safe and enjoyable gaming environment for everyone. Scamming is strictly forbidden and can lead to severe consequences, including a permanent ban. However, it's essential for all players to stay vigilant and protect themselves from potential scams. Hereโs a quick guide to help you stay scam-proof.
๐ธ 1. Be Skeptical of Too-Good-to-Be-True Deals
If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Scammers often lure players with unrealistically low prices for items or Zeny. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the in-game economy to recognize when something is off.
๐ธ 2. Use Secure Trade Methods
Always use the in-game trade window for transactions. Avoid dropping items on the ground or using unsecured methods of trading. Remember, Real Money Transactions (RMT) are strictly prohibited, and engaging in them can result in severe penalties.
๐ธ 3. Double-Check Trade Windows
Before confirming any trade, carefully review all items and amounts in the trade window. Scammers often try to swap or alter items at the last moment. ๏ปฟ
๐ธ 4. Guard Your Account Information
Your account is your responsibility. Never share your password or personal details with anyone, not even with people claiming to be GMs. Official GMs will never ask for your password. ๏ปฟ
๐ธ 5. Identify Fake Game Masters
Scammers may pretend to be GMs to trick players. Real GMs will have a special tag next to their names and will never ask for your account details or items. If youโre ever unsure, verify through our official Discord or other trusted channels. ๏ปฟ
๐ธ 6. Stay Informed About Common Scams
Knowledge is power. Join our Discord and stay updated on the latest scams and tactics used by scammers. The more you know, the better you can protect yourself. ๏ปฟ
๐ธ 7. Check for Fake Websites
Beware of fraudulent websites offering free items or Zeny. Only use the official Evolve-RO website for account management, purchases, and donations. If someone sends you to a third-party site, it's likely a scam. ๏ปฟ
๐ธ 8. Watch Out for Begging Scams
Some scammers pose as new players in need of help, asking for free items or Zeny. While itโs great to help newcomers, be cautious to avoid falling for a scam. ๏ปฟ
๐ธ 9. Avoid Trust Trading
Never give away items or Zeny on the promise of getting something better in return. Scammers often ask you to trust them with your items, but you may never see them again. ๏ปฟ
๐ธ 10. Report Suspicious Behavior
If you spot a scammer or encounter suspicious activity, report it immediately to our staff team via โ ใ๐ซใsupport-ticket๏ปฟ (opens in a new tab). Your vigilance helps keep the community safe. Provide as much information as possible, such as screenshots, chat logs, and the date and time of the incident.
By following these tips, you can significantly reduce your risk of falling victim to scams. Stay alert, use secure trade methods, and never share your personal information. Let's work together to keep our gaming community safe and enjoyable for everyone.
